We had a great experience! From Bill who did our appraisal, to Kayla who handled the paperwork and gave us the check. No arguing, no fuss, most importantly "no games". We were pleasantly very surprised of how professional they were to us. We were expecting the worst and got the best. We are also happy not to have to wait very long.
I enjoyed my experience with the purchase of my car on January 24, 2020. I came to CarMax for another car but left with this beauty instead due to it being in the price range I wanted and the value of the car. My salesperson Derrick was Amazing from beginning to the end of the process. I really enjoyed my experience with this lot. Unfortunately, my car was hit while I was parked at one of my work sites and was totaled. I have to say again, CarMax was phenomenal. When I bought my car I hadn't realized I didn't get GAP insurance (please take advantage of this), but when I contacted CarMax at the lot and their main number and I informed them of what had happened to get the pay off so they could get the check from my insurance (the driver/car that hit my parked car didn't have insurance) they kicked into gear. The lot gave me money back from the warranty (the unused portion of course), which dropped my bill down tremendously and I had already put in two payments to get ahead. So at the end of everything I only owed $1400. That was a big difference and money saved, they could have stopped there but they chose to give me some more great customer service. I was told I could pay in full or pay just what my car note was or more either way it was fine. This worked really well for me and I chose to do the payment over the next three months to pay it off. I must say my experience here was nothing more of "Fantastic" from beginning to end. I would purchase again from CarMax and would also refer others.
No one was at the front when we arrived. No one talked to us or asked if we had any questions. The staff we did talk to, after searching for someone, were nice though. Didn't expect the typical pushy sales people, but a "hello, welcome in. We are here if you have questions" would have been nice. Or even a simple "hello".
Great service and kind staff. CarMax bought my car recently and it was no hassle. I did have one issue when getting the quote. They forgot to put my name on the list for appointments. I spent about 1 hour outside waiting. This was quickly resolved after talking to the staff.
Sold my truck to CarMax. The process is easy and was handled professionally. The only issue I would have is that you need to update your system to allow for a set number of appointments for selling a vehicle. The list was long and getting longer while I was waiting. Other than that, the online process was easy, setting an appointment was easy, and the check-in process through signing paperwork was easy! Helps that I had title and paid off truck!
