Not the best quality baked goods. I was looking for a croissant, and despite looking like a greasy dense Costco crescent roll rather than a flaky light croissant, I was assured that the pastry I ordered was indeed a croissant, baked fresh from their facility across the street. It was definitely not a croissant - it was a crescent roll. The consistency was dense and soggy, not light and flaky. It had some kind of butter flavouring added to bread dough and had that preservative taste like that of a frozen commercial premade dough. It may have been baked that day, but it definitely was not from scratch or an in house dough.
The two younger white girls need to be better trained and be more honest. Their attitude and speech is entirely different than the older lady at the cashier who was warm and helpful. She seemed like their boss and should manage the two better. They ruined a perfectly good shop and my first vidit. I went in a whole hour before they close (3pm, their closing hour is 4), but they're there locking up the chairs outside and refuse to let me sit when the cashier lady who looks like their boss told me I totally could sit outside. The same girl also closed the coffee machine for no reason. When I asked her what time they stop serving coffee she said it depends. And I took a while for me to convince her to show me the teas instead of guessing the teas they have. I gave her a beautiful quiche to heat up and it was flattened and crushed when she heated it up - I don't know how. So I ended up leaving with a bunch of warmed up food and no place to go to eat them! I hope management will read this and realize they need to correct these girls and "manage" better. Their only reasoning for doing anything seemed to be they wanted to leave? Well then stop telling people on your page the closing hour is 4pm when it is 3pm. I would not have spent the money if I knew I could not sit outside and my pie was crushed.
One of our favorites 3 meals a day. Always freshly prepared locally sourced foods and great coffee. And work hard to create a safe shopping and dining experience!
Their pre-order dinners for 2 or 4 people are a big help with a tight timeline family schedule. Their pre-made salads are good size portions too. The desserts are worth the money spent. The interior decor speaks of thoughtfulness and cleanliness.
A hidden gem. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everything is made fresh. The coffee is awesome. Right when you walk in you get a friendly greeting. Mission now is to try every single pastery. You will not be disappointed here.
