Good things come to those who wait, as they say. Just ask the local electronic dance music fans who have been spent more than 18 months wanting to attend a full-blown music festival in the Valley.
They’ll get their wish this weekend when the Goldrush Music Festival happens at Rawhide Western Town in Chandler. The massive three-day EDM event put on by local promoter Relentless Beats, the largest to happen since the pandemic, is scheduled for Friday, September 24, to Sunday, September 26, at the park. Like its venue, the festival is Wild West themed and will offer plenty of kitsch.
It will also include sets by more than 60 different EDM artists, producers, and DJs, including Mad Decent founder Diplo, future bass/trap king Illenium, trance trio Above & Beyond, dubstep artist Jauz, and deep house duo Zeds Dead.
Besides all the beat-slinging, Goldrush will also feature a mix of attractions, ranging from carnival rides and circus performers to western-themed activities and even comedy and karaoke sessions.

Lighters are okay, as are sealed packs of cigarettes. Ditto for sealed tampons, gum, and lip balm. Oh, and be sure to wear a costume.

Forget about bringing weapons, wallet chains, fireworks, pets, large or non-clear bags, chairs, or anything else that’s disruptive, destructive, or dangerous.
